The furnishing division of this popular clothing brand presented its lifestyle proposals “Out of this world” at the Fuori Salone in its own space, a former goldsmiths’ workshop in the courtyard of the late-Baroque villa in Via Correnti 14. The range is inspired by the desert capital of Mexico and has been created by Moroso, the well-known Venetian furnishing company. The space offered to marathon runners at the Fuori Salone as a relaxation break, albeit in a large greenhouse filled with lush vegetation, was fully furnished and included bedroom, living room and dining room with kitchen on display, equipped with chairs around the large table with concrete finishes. Bright, sunny colours lifted straight from Mexican atmospheres contrasted with the concrete wall cladding. Every year the company offers a different inspiration, suggesting travels around the world, without ever compromising on the genetic code of the furnishing division, as an offshoot of the clothing brand that has made its mark in the world with its “coarse” style. The “Diesel Living” interiors, 3D images of possible cross-contaminations between fashion and design, succeed in transferring Diesel’s aggressive style to furnishing choices and create furnishing solutions appropriate to the typical customers of Diesel jeans – now an iconic brand internationally and the symbol of a particular lifestyle.
