Maison&Objet (September 2017) saw famous interior designer, Vincent Darré, who is known for his ability to provide original interpretations of classic styles and for his casual mix of references from different eras, reinterpret items for Italian brand, Luxury Living. The fairy-tale setting created in the Paris showroom was all about green and populated by animals. The furnishings from the different lines made by Luxury Living, such as Fendi Casa, Trussardi Casa, Bentley Home, Heritage Collection. Ritz Paris Home collection and Paul Mathieu, found their natural home in the setting imagined by Darré. On, the walls, white lines among the leaves have been used to draw a classic colonnade. The sofas are also all about green, as are the comfy armchairs in silk velvet, and the carpet. Animal statues in white clay dominate the scene, lying on sofas or resting on occasional tables. Green shoots climb the columns and arms of the lamps in Murano glass, and a large horse’s head dominates the fireplace.
